Description More Information

The 12V cord can be plugged into any 12V outlet such as that found in a car, boat, or RV, and it can also be plugged into the 12V outlet of the Respironics battery apapter cable.  We've even used the 12V cord plugged into a 3 million candlepower flashlight (which has a built-in 12V outlet on the front).  At a pressure setting of 8 cm H2O and using a fully charged battery, the run time on a REMstar Plus CPAP machine is 12 hours.

Right now, the flashlight battery option is probably the least expensive method of operating a CPAP machine from a battery.  Just make sure you get a rechargeable flashlight with a 12V outlet built into it.

Great for RV'ing July 26, 2008
Reviewer: Steve Georgiades from Yorba Linda, CA United States
I use this 12V adapter when we travel in our RV.  Used to use the standard AC cord, but some nights we "dry-camp" (without power), and it doesn't make sense to run the generator all night just for the CPAP.  I wired in a 12V outlet right next to the bed, and now I just always use the DC cable whenever I'm in the RV.  Works great!!

Portable and battery power cable August 9, 2007
Reviewer: BOB BRESLIN from BROKEN ARROW, OK United States
I use this on a RemStar Auto on airplaines (it is one of the few the airlines will allow on a plane!) and with a Solar ES5000 battery pack for emergencies or camping.
High quality. Strong and will stand up to abuse. Comes with several spare fuses. I use a SOLAR ES5000 battery pack when I go camping with Cub Scouts. I removed the jump start cables to make it lighter and I leave it plugged in so it is always ready. The protable jumb start has 1500 peak amps and a 22 amp hour battery that will run my RemStart Auto (17 pressure) for 3nights and even a little longer (2.1 amp draw). Great back-up set up for about $70.00. Best money I ever spent.
The cord shows no signs of wear and the connectors are good as new after a year of camp outs, monthly airline trips and being drug all over China for a month.
Like every product I have purchased from this web-site, this cord is high quality and built to last. Worth the money.
