This letter is to inform you of the impending sales discontinuation of our legacy REMstar and BiPAP model products. The decision to no longer manufacture the legacy REMstar and BiPAP products is based on the release of the full line of M Series products. The M Series line of sleep systems offers the same range of therapy options as our legacy devices but in a smaller, sleeker design that is easier to use for you and your patients. Please find below a matrix mapping the Legacy model to the equivalent M Series model.

Notes:

* M Series Integrated Humidifiers are not compatible with legacy flow generators and vice versa.
**Encore Pro must be upgraded to version 1.6i or higher to read M Series information.

We can assure you that we will continue to support and provide service on the Legacy REMstar and BiPAP product line until January 2012. We are very confident that the M Series will offer you a superior substitute that will better meet you and your patients needs.

The target date of the legacy REMstar and BiPAP sales discontinuation is January 1, 2007. This date is dependent on inventory and the product will be considered obsolete once inventory is depleted.
