A BiPAP machine differs from a CPAP machine in that there are two pressures entered into the machine - and exhalation pressure and an inhalation pressure. The new REMstar C-Flex technology is very similar in nature to the functionality of a BiPAP, but with the BiPAP the exhalation pressure is precise and is based on the pressure that is pre-set into the machine. |
