Description Technical Specs More Information

The ComfortFull 2 makes it easier for patients who breathe through the mouth while sleeping to comply with therapy and get a good night’s rest. This lightweight, durable design delivers more comfort and a better seal than any full-face mask we’ve ever produced.

The ComfortFull 2, like all masks in the Comfort Series, is latex free.

Respironics part numbers 1004880 (small), 1004872 (medium), 1004950 (large)

Don't know which size to order? Use our mask sizing guide below to help you decide which size is best for you. To use the guide you'll need to take the following two measurements:

  1. Measure straight down from the middle of your pupil to just below the lower lip. It may help to imagine a horizontal line extended from your lower lip to beneath your eye, so that you can measure straight down from your pupil.
  2. Measure the width of your mouth in a natural position (i.e. not smiling)
Mask Size Length (Measurement #1) Width (Measurement #2)
Small 3 1/4" 2 3/4"
Medium 3 5/8" 3 3/8"
Large 4 1/4" 3 3/8"
You should purchase the CPAP mask that most closely matches the measurements you take, being sure to make sure that the CPAP mask dimensions are no smaller than the measurements you took. It's better to have a slightly large CPAP mask than one that is too small.

Features
The ComfortFull 2 features:
  • Soft, dual-flap cushion has been redesigned to be more forgiving for broader noses.
  • Polished clear cushion surface provides a more secure seal without sacrificing comfort.
  • Adjustable ComfortHeadgear™ and StabilitySelector™ help provide a more personalized fit.
  • New cushion and faceplate are now just one lightweight piece.

All of which means that the ComfortFull 2 is the best option available for a full-face mask. That’s good for patients – and for clinicians.

The mask is fairly uncomfortable, I only use it when I can't breeth through my nose.

Noisier than I expected July 28, 2007
Reviewer: David from Aptos, CA United States
I thought the mask would be at least as quiet as my older Comfort nasal mask - but it is much noisier in actual use. This may be due to the need of the manufacturer to reposition the exhaust port near the safety flapper valve.

The auto-start feature on my CPAP machine doesn't work with this mask because of the operation of the safety valve.  This means that if your mask slips out of place (see below) and your machine shuts off because of the leak - it then won't automatically re-start from your breathing if the mask later slips back into place. Similarly - if the power fails and your auto-start machine stops, it may not start again from your breathing when the power returns.

The first night the mask shifted and my machine shut-off.  The problem appears to be I didn't have the  forehead strap on tight enough. I tightened the strap and had no further problem.

The mask appears well made and comfortable for a full-face mask, it comes with a video disc you should watch.
