This headgear includes an optional top strap which can be fitted to the main headgear by way of guide loops on the back of the headgear. Once fitted, the optional top strap can then be secured to the forehead support portion of the full face mask.

The full face mask is for adult patients only and covers the user's nose and mouth. This mask is for use with Respironics' CPAP and bi-level systems. The mask should be used with Respironics Convertible Headgear (which is not included). The use of an exhalation device such as the Respironics Whisper Swivel II is required for venting of exhaled air.

Helpful Tips for Mask Comfort

• Clean the user's face and mask thoroughly before each use
• Make sure the mask and headgear are the correct size for the user's face
• Do not overtighten the headgear. Overtightening can increase leaks and cause damage to the cushion.
• If skin irritation develops, attach Microfoam tape between the skin and the CPAP mask
