I have bought De Vilbis machines before and have always found them to be of high quality. This is my first auto adjust machine. It's difficult to be quantitative but this machine seems quieter in operation, not that any of them are noisy, and was definitely "gentler". It is particuarly well made and is more rohbust than the S8 or Puritan Bennet machines I have had. I travel regularly and camp from time to time. It is very satisfactory. I run a lead from my SUV to the tent and it is fine.

I have used a C-Pap machine for about 10 years - have had two different ones by Respironics. I started having problems getting good quality sleep so my new doctor suggested the Intellipap. What a difference! It seems I needed several different settings during the night (from a pressure of 9 to 12) which regular c-paps don't do. I also love how quiet it is. There is no sound when the mask is on correctly - get the nasal pillows if you can.
