System Requirements for Encore Pro Software
- Microsoft Windows-compatible personal computer running Windows 98, NT 4.0, ME, or XP Professional with a CD-ROM drive
- Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or greater
- 64 MB system memory
- 50 MB free hard disk space for Encore Pro Application
- 140 MB free hard disk space for database server
- Color monitor with 16 bit color, 800 x 600 resolution (minimum, but not limited to)
- Windows-compatible pointing device (mouse)
- PCMCIA slot
- UL 1950. IEC 60950, or EN60950 approved computer
Encore Pro software is primarily intended for sleep labs and sleep lab technicians, but many CPAP users find the software to be useful for monitoring their own CPAP compliance and for learning more about their sleep patterns. The Encore Pro software must be purchased separately. This SmartCard reader does not include the Encore Pro CPAP compliance software.
The newly released EncoreViewer 1.0 is intended specifically for CPAP users.
You will need to purchase this SmartCard reader in order to download your CPAP usage data into the software for analysis. The SmartCard reader is available with either a USB connection or a serial connection. We recommend using the USB reader since it is more likely for you to have a free USB input on your computer, and because USB will provide faster downloading from the card reader to the software.
