Battery on backorder until approximately mid-November 2010.
Manufacturer update as of 11/9.10: The Everest 3 CPAP machine and battery has been discontinued. We still have 3 machines in stock as of 11/9/10. The last shipment of Everest batteries should be delivered by mid-November at the latest. As of 11/9/10 there are only about 5 batteries from our last shipment that haven't already been purchased. We recommend you order now if you want an Everest battery. Once we're out of stock, you won't be able to add an Everest battery to your shopping cart (so you'll know when we've run out).
Note from CPAP-Supply.com about Everest batteries:
Our Everest batteries are new with a manufacture date on or later than December 2009. Watch out for lower-priced batteries at some online retailers. If the price seems too good to be true, then there's probably a reason for it. The manufacturer - AEIOMed - informed us in June 2010 that some online retailers are buying old AEIOMed batteries and battery cells from a 3rd party and that those batteries and battery cells are up to four years old and will not work like a new battery because they're old and they haven't been properly recharged while in inventory. Our advice: don't buy old batteries. Caveat emptor!
Enjoy freedom and flexibility with the integrated Everest system in place of conventional, component separated CPAP systems. Now it’s easier than ever to travel—even go camping— with CPAP.
With the optional integrated, rechargeable battery, there’s no need to worry about the location of the closest power outlet or the fear of an inadvertent power outage. The unique Everest battery will keep the system functional for hours without household current.
Good things do come in small packages.
When you purchase the Everest™ Integrated CPAP System, you are purchasing the only CPAP on the market today available with an optional integrated battery – it's the ultimate in flexibility and portability.
- Go camping or boating again.
- Use it whenever power is unavailable or difficult to reach.
- Let the storms come! The battery ensures peace of mind as seamless back-up to loss of wall power.
Make those cigarette lighters good for something. The optional Mobile Power Adapter will run the CPAP with heated humidification and recharge the battery while you're out and about. Use it with your car, boat, RV – or 18-wheeler!

AEIOMed is a leader in customer driven design, development, and production of respiratory medical devices. Through the integration of technology, the input from customers, and the creativity of our employees, we provide innovative, quality products that improve the lives of people with sleep disorders.
This is the story of a guy named Steve; a contrarian with vision, passion, and a 12 x 20 workshed in his backyard.
AEIOMed founder and CEO Steve Bordewick used his shed to construct prototypes of what he hoped would be a better CPAP and nasal interface.
“You just have to believe, and then surround yourself with others who believe. We may not always know exactly how we are going to compete with the ‘big guys,’ but it’s in our DNA. We’re going to figure it out.”
At the time Bordewick was tinkering in his workshop, standard CPAP technology was large and cumbersome, usually about the size of a loaf of bread.
Bordewick knew smaller was better when it came to CPAP units.
“The first thing people will notice about our Everest™ Integrated CPAP System is the small size. The unit fits easily on a nightstand, leaving plenty of room for other essentials. But size isn’t the only thing. It also features a battery option accommodating CPAP therapy when electricity is not available, such as camping, flying or in the event of a power outage.”
For its CPAP interface, AEIOMed just got rid of the straps, as Bordewick explains.
“We found that the greatest limitation to effective CPAP therapy is the discomfort patients experience wearing the nasal interface and straps apparatus. While other manufacturers try to create a good mask and seal, small leaks are very common. Patients respond by tightening the straps often resulting in painful pressure sores on the forehead and around the nose. Solving problem scenarios like that with innovative, customer-centric products is just one way we are committed to being different.”
