The Respironics replacement or alternative mask swivel connector is used as an interface to certain CPAP masks and CPAP tubing.  This articulating swivel connector allows more freedom of movement on the following masks:

  • Respironics Profile Lite
  • Respironics Gold Seal
  • Respironics Reusable

To replace any of the original mask swivels on the masks listed above requires a certain amount of patience and dexterity, but it is entirely possible to remove the original swivel connectors and replace them with this one.  Keep in mind that a Whisper Swivel (Respironics part 332113) will be required in conjuction with this flexible swivel to allow for air venting from the CPAP mask.  The only advantage of adding this flexible swivel to your breathing circuit is the articulating nature which allows the CPAP tubing to be directed at an infinite number of angles from the mask frame.
