Here's a listing of the primary differences between the Mirage Swift and the Mirage Swift II:

  • The angle of the nasal pillows on the Swift II is slightly different, although sizing is the same
  • The CO2 vent holes are now integrated into the mask frame rather than in the cushion
  • The frame and frame clip have been redesigned
  • The way in which the cushion fits with the frame has been redesigned
  • The end cap is now blue
Please note that the Mirage Swift II cushions are not compatible with the original Mirage Swift.

The new Mirage Swift II is one of the quietest and lightest masks available. It is 86% quieter than the Mirage Swift and weighs less than 2.5 oz (about 72g).

Mirage Swift™ II Nasal Pillows Mask with Hea February 4, 2012
Reviewer: Sean Sullivan from San Francisco, CA United States
This is the most comfortable mask I have found. I highly reccomend it. I tried the nose covering mask and it was driving me nuts with the whistling and the rubbing on my face. CPAP Supply are top notch. Fast turn around and personable staff.

Mirage Swift 2 Nasal Pillows Mask December 27, 2011

This style seems to work for me. Three sizes of nasal pillows lets you choose the best fit. I'm trying to figure out a better strap buckle arrangement. The stock setup works but the buckle placement is annoying to me a on my back sleeper.

Works great, recommended. October 31, 2011
Reviewer: FRANK from CASPER, WY United States
I've used this mask for a couple years now, and I'm pretty happy with it. It needs little maintenance and leaves no marks because I don't have to tighten it down much.

Swift II is a Great Mask! September 22, 2011
Reviewer: Dave from Severn, MD United States
I've been using the Swift II for a few years, switching from a Gel mask to this. What a difference! Leaks are a thing of the past. Much more comfortable, much easier to put on and fit right, and much easier to move around at night - and quieter, too. I'm going to try a new mask next week, the Respironics Go Life, which I tried at a trial fitting this week. It's the first nasal pillow mask I've tried that felt even better than the Swift II. I tried the Swift LX for about three days a couple of years ago, but wasn't happy with it; couldn't keep a seal as it was pulled around by the hose as I tossed and turned and kept breaking the seal of the pillows. I know I've always got my Swift II, though. The only problem is the masks start getting pinholes and leaks around the fittings at the ends of the canister after awhile - sometimes pretty soon, and you get little whispers of air blowing up the side of your nose or face - it drives me nuts! Sometimes you can fix them, sometimes you can't.
