The first PR System One Auto A-flex that I bought had an LCD screen with no backlight and couldn't read information on it, so after a call to the factory Cpap-Supply replaced it. The second Auto A-flex unit has a bad smell somewhat like some type of plastic solvent or sealer coming from the blower unit that stinks and is very annoying. Cpap-Supply suggested how I could use a fragrance to mask the odor but would not replace this machine since it is running correctly. I am left with a very expensive paperweight since I do not want plastic solvent in my lungs. I do not recommend any PR System One cpap or apap until Respironics improves their products as 2 out of 3 that I have owned have had faults.

Quiet and effective!

I have been through two other units prior to this one and this one is great for its lack of noise as my wife could hear a mouse squeak from a mile away when it comes to sleep. It was the first time she had said it about any of the three units. Setup was easy and straight forward and the warm air & humidity have helped me attain REM sleep every night since I have received and started using it.

REMstar Aout-A-Flex with Heated Humidifie and tube

The item came very quickly and was as described. The instructions were straight forward and easy to understand. I had a similar model but without the heated tube. I could never wear that the whole night because the tube eventually had too much condensation and woke me up. There is no condensation with this unit and I can sleep through the night. I'm getting much better sleep now.

Quiet w/good setting options

This APAP has good setting options and is very quiet in operation. When used w/o the humidifier there is slightly more noise mostly from the mask and not the machine itself. As I was hoping for a smaller & lighter machine to travel with (leaving the humidifier at home) this is the only disappointment I have. Unlike older machines with built in power supply, this machine requires a separate heavy & bulky power brick. I mistakenly thought that the power brick was only required for the humidifier (80 W for heated & 60 W for non-heated) and that the machine would otherwise plug directly into the wall. Alas a separate power brick is absolutely required for operation so the hoped for size & weight savings is non-existent.

Excellent across the board, quality, price, sales, delivery. These folks deserve your business and not your local "providers". I can't say enough good things about them. Also, their web site has lots of interesting and useful information, which they did not have to do but which shows their uniform good quality.
