Hi everyone i am new to this sleep apnea thing, but this machine is Great. The carrying case is great, i live in japan and in the military, just traveled to thailand and the philipines. No problems at the airports at ALL!!. All the features are great on this machine. never leave home with out it. I got used to the slight noise of it going up and down to my breathing and i crave for it every night. The relief of what this machine has done to my life i can not put a price tag on it. Thank you all for you inputs.

I love the size of this machine. The humidifier that came with it actually heats the water... Hate being a CPAP user, but without it, I don't sleep, nor does anyone else (if ya know what I mean).

Pros and Cons |

Using this unit w/ humidifier. Good unit, and as with other Respironics products, quality is evident. Cons: small size comes from an external transformer, so you get a power brick. If you travel with it, it isn't that much smaller in net bulk than other integrated units. The unit is rather noisy, but I'm told that's due to the C-Flex (and maybe also due to passing through the humidifier?). The motor whines in varying pitch with each breath. It's not loud enough to wake my wife, but it can get annoying and you sound like Darth Vader. The humidifier attachment puts bulk back in the unit, and the tandem power cord becomes cumbersome; it will prevent you from detaching the power cord from the unit. The water chamber is small, about 3 full nights at heat setting at 2 of 5, and I forget to refill and end up with dry sinuses. If you don't need the humidifier, it's compact, solid, easy to travel with and, if don't need C-Flex, should be much quieter (but get the unit without it then).

I purchased this machine in June 2007 and have had a restful sleep each night, this is one of the best. I forgot my machine on a recent trip and was miserable. It's quiet, easy to set up and use. The price is going down which is nice, I'm considering purchasing a 2nd unit. I use the nasal nose mask which needs adjusting. Great unit!

Great CPAP Machine |

I have been using this since May 2007 and it is wonderful. I use the Ultra Mirage Full Face Mask System with it since I breathe through my mouth the majority of the time. This unit is very portable and very quiet. I have to set the humidifier on 3 or 4 where I am at since the lower settings cause me to wake up with a very dry mouth/throat. Would recommend this to anyone who has to use a CPAP machine.
