I used that for two nights, and ended up with a blister and swelling around my nose and pain; returned that the day after. It surely does not match my face, make sure if it is for you.

I tried to get this mask to work but it leaks no matter what I try. went back to my old comfort select and just used the strap. Get a gel mask. I just tried and love the opti light pillows mask. its even better than the swift 2 that I used for years.

Worst mask for me ever |

I am a seven year CPAP user so this is not new to me. This mask is the worst I have ever used. It has taken over a week to get the setup right as I get leaks in the night that blow air over the left eye. It is now complaining with pink eye symptoms. The air discharge is in the opposite direction so it is blowing on the blankets or sheet and deflecting back on to my face - quite a strange thing. I have order a new mask - the comfort gel as that has worked for me in the past and since this one is totally out of my pocket, it is priced right and will get me by for the next few months. I am going back to the Res Med Activa next mask insurance covers.

I have used the other brand (gel) of mask for several years but after talking with the folks here at CPAP Supply decided to go with the Mirage Micro. After a week I can say I really made a good choice. I like the lightweight, the adjustment straps, the dial (!) and the clips. Once I got it fitted properly, I couldnt believe how quiet it is airflow wise. I only have two issues with this mask: 1) The recirc air blows pretty hard and direct out of the mask and in certain positions this is annoying for you or your better half and 2) The mask swivel squeaks when you change positions. This is from plastic to plastic I guess. I looked at my old mask and it had zero squeaks. It sounds kind of like a dog toy squeaker. All in all, nothing that cant be dealt with.....but I would change those two things if possible. Oh, and the travel storage bag is pretty cool too. Beats zip locks. Happy sleeping!

I have been using my CPAP machine for about 5 years now. I have tried MANY different masks. The best one I had found to date was the Mirage Activa Nasal Mask by ResMed. It was great except for the sizing. I am a woman with a small nose and mouth and the Activa tended to "fold down" over my mouth. I am also a dedicated side sleeper and often wake up with neck aches from sleeping with my head in unnatural positions to keep my mask from losing suction. Then I found this new generation of the Mirage mask...and it came in a SMALL size! What an amazing difference this has made for me. This new mask is more than half the size of the Activa and fits my face as if it was custom made. It also allows me to side sleep in my natural positions without any movement from the mask. The new control on the forehead pad is also a big plus. It's so easy to control. It may not be for everyone, but if you have smaller features as I do, this mask is simply the best!
