Great Humidifier March 2, 2012

I definitely consider a humidifier a must if you want to help make using a CPAP machine more comfortable. I had to go without a humidifier for a while and would often wake up with a dry throat. I'm happy with the REMSTAR CPAP machine that I use and the humidifier hooks into it very nicely. It is efficient and quiet and looks nice.

M Series Humidifier July 12, 2011

I added the humidifier to the REMstar M Series CPAP several months after putting the CPAP into use.  I was drying my sinuses too much without any humidifier as I use the CPAP for 6-8 hours each night.  The humidifier works in both unheated and heated modes and has helped my sinuses.  The installation instructions could be improved by including in the set up instructions about removing the CPAP air outlet port that the removal is easy and part of the design - I did not anticipate disassembly of anything on the CPAP to add the humidifier.

For the most part, the unit works fine.  It seems to have one of the best EPR and is effortless to use.
I have my unit go into high pressure a few times, but unplugging it and letting sit usually clears that problem.
I have heard that this unit has more failures than most, but I've had mine over a year and so far so good.

It actually heats the water. The M-Series is my third CPAP machine in 6 years and I LOVE this machine. It's quiet, it heats the water - IT ROCKS!
