Best Face Mask EVER
December 19, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Colchester, VT United States
So much nicer and easier without that annoying forehead head part on the regular ones. Try it you will be glad you did. I have always had a hard time with the other masks and wouldn't wear them long but this one from the first day on I was able to wear it all night what a difference..buy the pillow too you won't be sorry

Best ResMed Full Face

Reviewer: Eric from Durham, NC
I do not see why this product was getting one star reviews. I love my mask. I sometimes like to read a bit and this mask allows me to do this.

Excellent Mask

My Husband has sleep apnea, and this is such a better fit for him. He said its very comfortable and not heavy on his face. He would reccomend this mask to anyone that suffers from Sleep Apnea, and needs a mask for the cpap machine

Very comfortable, a bit tricky but worth it.

I just started CPAP and tried several masks. My machine is set for 15 on the PR System One REMstar Auto A-Flex with Humidifier unit.
I thoroughly tried all of the masks and in the end I chose this one. However, HOW YOU PUT IT ON makes all of the difference in the world.
Make sure you seat the nose of your bridge 1st, pull over your head gear, then start to place the rest of the mask down to the chin. If you DO NOT do this, you will have ripple areas in the cushion. It is all about spreading the cushion evenly.
As soon as you do this right, and play with it a bit to understand how it is meant to fit it is great to sleep with.
I am a side sleeper, I can move around side to side, on my back and never have a problem with a leak after I learned to get it placed right.
I'm very happy with this and will continue to use it for sure.
I can lay in bed, watch tv and actually sleep now without disruption!

Great until you turn the air on NO STARS
April 27, 2012
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Cincinnati
When I was fitted with the Quattro FX, I was really exited!!! It was light weight and super comfortable. That night I put it on, and again it was so comfortable. But, when I turned on the air, it leaked like you wouldn't believe. I adjusted it for about an hour. I was determined I was going to get it right. No matter what I did it sounded like a continuous whoopie cushion. Really ticked off, it wasn't cheap. If there would have been anything less than one star, that's what I would have checked.

Somewhat satisfied

I've been on CPAP since September and have been through 4 different masks. Started using this one in the middle of October. I found that you can overtighten the straps and it will leak. I asked my supplier how do I know when it's time to change the cushion and she said when it stats leaking. I ordered a spare to have on hand. I went 2 1/2 months when I stated having leaking issues. I swapped out the cushion and the leaking went away. It must be that the soft cushion material gets week after a while and the mask starts leaking because of it. I would recommend this mask to anyone. I'll continue using this mask untill they come up with something better.

Constant Leaks Over Time
August 25, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from South Carolina
I was excited to get this mask because I like to watch tv at night in bed and this mask didn't bridge onto my forehead. Unfortunatly, the seal keeps coming loose from the mask and I get a leak around the bridge of my nose in the middle of the night. After four months of fighting it, I am going back to my Quattro with the forehead support. If you need a high pressure on your machine then I wouldn't suggest this mask.

Quattro FX
July 7, 2011
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from South Carolina
I bought the Quattro FX as soon as it was available in my area. I was very excited about having a full face mask without visual obstruction because I love to read right before going to sleep and want my mask in place while I read. I am a loyal Resmed customer as I think they have the most comfortable masks. Unfortunatly, despite diligently using the mask as directed I could not get a comfortable fit. It was sized 'right' but it was too short. It leaked quite a bit and I would tighten the straps. Every morning my lower teeth would ache from where the mask would rest all night. I tried to keep the straps looser but it would leak more. I could not 'work' this mask so it would work for me. I ended up putting it in my drawer and going back to my tried and true quattro mirage. I think if the mask was longer and rested further down on the chin it would be fine.
