Ok, on my sleep study I HATED cpap. I hated the machine, I hated the mask, I hated everything about it. BUT, post surgery, I still needed to use it. The S8 is a user friendly machine that has so many features to ease the transition. The system feature that aids exhalation, the ability to track usage data, and the overall ease of use is wonderful. If you are avoiding cpap and dreading the machine...try this one...honest...its is makes the experience so much less oh-my-gawdish...give it a try...

Great for Travel |

Because I travel extensively, I was looking for a durable, compact, light weight CPAP machine that I could easily pack in a suitcase. I called the folks at CPAP-Supply.com, and they recommended the ResMed S8 Escape CPAP. Wow! It's about 1/2 the size of my old Respironics machine, weighs about as much as a couple of pairs of shoes. I also like the "Ramping" and other features.

S8 Escape Great machine |

I recieved this machine the day before we left on vacation. Time was short so I left it in the case until it was my wifes turn to drive. Directions are very plain and easy to understand. I spent 20-30 minutes reading. I couldn't wait until bed time. I slept like a baby as well did my wife... I am very happy with my purchase. I highly rate this machine. A must for the price. I would also like to commend the service. Thanks

six month's of use - great |

I've been using this machine for six months and have had no problems whatsoever. It is very quiet, compact, and ramping is very nice to go to sleep with. I'll be getting a second S8 unit with potential for use with 12v power adapter for camping.
