This system did no work for me. I tried using the system secured behind my ears. I couldn't get a good fit and the nasal pillows leaked. So I tried using the conventional set-up. The pillows leaked, especially when I turned on my side. I traded for another mask and am very happy now. This company is easy to work with and I appreciate that.

Bella Nasal Pillows System

I am generally very happy with the switch to this nasal system from the Activia system with a couple of reservations: first, this product might not be so effective with a CPAP without exhalation relief. With the Devillbis Intellipap it works well. I am currently using the over-the-ears strap system but am grateful that the alternate headgear is included. I have needed to change the size of the nasal pillows and am glad a variety of sizes was included. There is sometimes slippage of the nasal pillows if I turn during my sleep. I haven't tried the product with the headgear variation--it is possible the slippage factor would be less with the alternate headgear.

Ouch!

I like the Swift FX nasal pillows and the accompanying headgear and have used this system very effectively. Therefore, I thought the Bella loops would be even more comfortable, eliminating the need for headgear at all, yet attaching to the same nasal pillows. Well, I was wrong. The narrow strips of silicone rubber used for the loops are glorified (yet expensive) rubber bands, and after a couple of hours of wear, I had searing pain at the tops and backs of both ears. It didn't matter how tight or loose I wore these loops. The pain lasted for days after I stopped wearing Bella loops. Rather than torture myself again, I threw the loops in the trash and went back to the regular Swift FX headgear. Maybe these will work for you, but I wouldn't recommend them.

My favorite feature of the Bella is the behind-the-ear loops option. Finally, no "dents" in my hair in the morning. I highly recommend this CPAP mask option.
