Nasal pillows CPAP masks are becoming increasingly popular due to the fact that they're less invasive and lighter weight than "traditional" nasal and full-face masks, and because they tend to provide a great seal without too much effort and regardless of the shape and contours of your nose and face. Also, many nasal pillows CPAP masks include all sizes of cushions, which takes the guesswork out of mask sizing. Some "traditional" CPAP masks include multiple cushion sizes, but most don't.
The Respironics OptiLife is a superb example of a flexible and secure design. With headgear and rotating pillows that can both be adjusted to ensure a proper fit, and a chin strap to keep the mask secure, you won't have to worry nearly as much about losing a seal during the night.
