The 2-foot tube is great for attaching a standalone humidifier to your CPAP machine. Or, if you're sleeping really, really close to your CPAP machine, you can use the 2-foot tube as your main tube to connect the machine to your mask. Sounds silly, but it's actually a great solution for campers, truck drivers, or anyone else who might be sleeping in a confined space and who doesn't want to deal with the tangled mess of a longer tube.
