When we developed ComfortGel Blue, we set out to create a mask that more of your patients would naturally embrace. Thats why we combined the best of our time-proven gel masks with new, highly regarded enhancements that dont just create a new maskthey establish a whole new level of mask performance.
The evolution of comfort
Our blue gel masks have always provided clinicians with an edge. And thats why the ComfortGel Blue mask stays true to that winning formula by using the latest evolution of our blue gel technology. The soft, pliable blue gel readily adapts to facial features, thereby simplifying fit and contributing to extended wearer comfort. But we didnt stop there. A redesigned forehead cushion reduces pressure points for a more comfortable experience. Premium headgear makes fitting and adjustment a snap and helps maintain a proper seal. Together, these features create a higher level of comfort and more stability than ever possible.
Sometimes a little enhancement can go a long way for everyone. We developed a lower profile exhalation port with an integrated swivel that quietly directs air flow up and away from a bed partner. Now, you and your bed partner can enjoy a better nights sleep.
Combined performance
ComfortGel Blue was designed to take full advantage of the Philips Respironics System One Resistance Control. Working together as a system, the device recognizes when adjustments in therapy are required and compensates to deliver optimum PAP therapy and the highest possible level of comfort.
The Comfort Gel Blue is very similar to the original Comfort Gel, but has some design enhancements including:
- Redesigned forehead pad resulting in fewer pressure points
- Lower profile exhale port which redirects airflow away from bed partner and reduces noise
- No gel injection holes - gel is completely sealed in polyethylene casing
- Note: the ComfortGel Blue forehead support is not removable. That means it can't come off during shipping!

- Measure straight down from the middle of your pupil to the bottom of your nose. It may help to imagine a horizontal line extended from your nose to beneath your eye, so that you can measure straight down from your pupil.
- Measure the width of your nose at its widest point

You should purchase the CPAP mask that most closely matches the measurements you take, being sure to make sure that the CPAP mask dimensions are no smaller than the measurements you took. It's better to have a slightly large CPAP mask than one that is too small.
